Mint Hill Residents,
A Mint Hill icon passed away this week. Troy Pollard served as Mayor of the Town of Mint Hill from 1975 to 1991. I did not know him personally, but I knew of him, and his many accomplishments during his tenure as mayor. In the spring, the Town will be planting a tree in his honor at the Park on Wilgrove; the Town’s first park that was constructed during his tenure. On behalf of the Board of Commissioners and the Town of Mint Hill, I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
After several months of hard work and dedication, we are very excited to announce the launch of our newly designed website. The new website is faster, easier to navigate, and more user-friendly. For accurate Town of Mint Hill information, we ask that you visit our website, follow our official page on social media (@townofminthill) or call our office at 704-545-9726 and speak to a person.
I ask you to continue to remain vigilant about wearing your masks over your nose and mouth, practicing social distancing, and washing your hands. The COVID-19 vaccine is currently available to any person aged 65 or older who has not previously been vaccinated. The quicker we all get vaccinated, the sooner we can get back to spending time in-person with our family and friends.
