Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park

warmemorial1cpLocated at 8850 Fairview Road in Mint Hill, this park was officially opened in 1997 and was renamed and dedicated as the Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park in 2013. The park is over 50 acres in size with amenities for all ages.

FACILITIESFor your pleasure, this active recreational complex has been developed with the following amenities: two beach volleyball courts; two synthetic turf fields and one softball/multi purpose field; five tennis courts; two pickleball courts; a nine-hole disc golf course; three picnic shelters, four outdoor handball/practice courts; three horseshoe pits; a children's playground; a paved walking path; a one mile nature trail; restrooms and 150 parking spaces.

The natural beauty you can enjoy along the nature trail is beyond imagination with its plants and wildlife.  Deer, raccoon, reptiles and a variety of birds have been seen along the trail.  The wetland adjoining the trail was once home to a colony of beaver and evidence of their work in the fallen trees is fascinating.

The following facilities are available for reservation: Tennis Courts 3, 4, and 5, Pickleball Court 7, Soccer and Soccer/Football Field, Softball Multi-Use Field, and Shelter #1 and #3. All other facilities remain on a first come, first serve basis.
