The Town of Mint Hill is excited to break ground for a new 27-acre park located at 9801 Brief Road.  The new park will include a large playground structure, a toddler playground structure, two picnic areas, a 1-mile family-oriented hiking trail and a 1.9-acre dog park to accommodate both large and small dogs.  Much of the park will be left in its natural state.  Construction is set to begin later this summer with anticipated opening by the end of the year.

The Mint Hill Board of Commissioners is asking residents for their help in naming the new park.  Suggestions for names should be made in writing and include an explanation of the proposed name’s significance to the Town of Mint Hill’s history.  Submissions can be emailed to info@minthill.com.  Names must be received by October 1st, 2023.
