Memorial Park Benches and Trees
The Town of Mint Hill offers friends and relatives the opportunity to honor a loved one with either a new park bench or a tree. Benches will feature an inscription of the donor's choice and the trees will have a bronze plaque inscribed with the donor's choice of words. The honoree (or honorees, as space permits on the bench or tree plaque) may be living or deceased and must have at one time in their life been a resident of Mint Hill. Businesses, groups, or organizations are not permitted to be the honoree.

To begin the process of having a memorial installed,download the application form by clicking here.
Deliver a completed application form to Town Hall.
Be sure to include the following:
- A legible and complete application form
- A complete wording form for the type of memorial (either tree or bench)
- Full payment for the type of memorial (refer to the policy for the current fee schedule)
The fee schedule can be found in the policy document--always check the policy for the most current information as it will govern in the event of a discrepancy. Current fees for these memorials are:
- Park Bench: $1,500
- Tree and Plaque: $450
