COVID-19 UPDATE

In an effort to keep our employees and residents safe, effective Monday, March 23, the Town of Mint Hill Administrative operations related to Administration, Planning & Zoning, Finance, and Human Resources will work remotely to adhere to the social distancing set forth by the CDC. If you need assistance, continue to call Town Hall at 704-545-9726 and you will be directed to the appropriate department. We encourage you to handle any Town Hall business via phone or email.

Plans, permits or any related documents for the Planning Department or Code Enforcement should be provided digitally. If necessary, a staff member from the Planning Department will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-11:30 am and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm to receive documents.
Mail will be checked daily. Invoices will continue to be paid on a bi-weekly basis by our Finance Department. Job applications will be forwarded to the Human Resource Director.

The Police Department lobby is closed to the public. For non-emergency issues call 704-545-1085. Finger printing is not available until further notice. Police and Fire are responding to calls, but taking precautions as outlined by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management.

Public Works will continue to cut grass and provide general maintenance with crews divided. Public Works staff will be out at the parks applying a disinfectant solution to the play equipment, picnic tables and restrooms throughout the day.

Both Veterans Park and the Park on Wilgrove remain open under normal schedules; however, all organized gatherings at the parks are cancelled. This includes pick-up soccer, softball and volleyball games. We ask that you maintain social distancing while at the parks. Parks will remain open to provide outside space unless ordered closed by the Governor.
