Mint Hill Citizens Academy
Today, the average citizen can have an inaccurate view of law enforcement, a view mainly derived from things they have read through social media and a view derived from a lack of real-world experience. During this 9-week course you will be offered the opportunity to get to know the men and women of the Mint Hill Police Department as well as our officers getting to know you. This will be a time to develop stronger partnerships between citizens and police. We believe the topics for this academy will instill valuable lessons and present a better understanding of how our legal system works and what your police officers experience. Hopefully, with the few hours we will have with you during these sessions we can paint another picture by engaging in hands-on training within this course.

- Must not have been convicted of, or have pending charges for any Felony Offense
