Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park

MINT HILL VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKLocated at 8850 Fairview Road in Mint Hill, this park was officially opened in 1997 and was renamed and dedicated as the Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park in 2013. The park is over 50 acres in size with amenities for all ages.

FACILITIES

For your pleasure, this active recreational complex has been developed with the following amenities: two beach volleyball courts; two soccer fields and one softball fields; six tennis courts; a nine-hole disc golf course; three picnic shelters, four outdoor handball/practice courts; three horseshoe pits; a children's playground; an asphalt in-line skating and bike path; a one mile nature trail; restrooms and 150 parking spaces.

The natural beauty you can enjoy along the nature trail is beyond imagination with its plants and wildlife.  Deer, raccoon, reptiles and a variety of birds have been seen along the trail.  The wetland adjoining the trail was once home to a colony of beaver and evidence of their work in the fallen trees is fascinating.

Tennis courts, soccer fields and Shelter #3 can be reserved.  You will need to turn in a completed Park Facility Reservation form an pay the applicable fees to Town Hall.  All other shelters are on a first come-first serve basis.

A Minor event is an event that consists of more than 60 people but no more than 250. A one day event that requires the reservation of more than one facility at one of the Town parks. A Major event is an event that consists of more than 250 people or a multi-day event that requires the reservation of more than one facility at one of the Town parks.
