3.27.20 Message from Mayor Brad Simmons

Mar 27th, 2020

Mint Hill Residents,

No matter where we live, we are all affected by the COVID-19. Kids are home from school, parents are home from work, our houses are becoming very small and you may be wanting to trade your current roommates in for new ones. But the more we adhere to the rules, the sooner we will be back to normal.

In the meantime, take this time to slow down. How many times have you said, I wish there were more hours in a day? Well now you have them. Use this time to spend quality time with your family, reach out to an old friend with whom you have lost contact, enjoy the outdoors while practicing social distancing, teach yourself a new skill.

For those wishing to volunteer their efforts in the fight against COVID-19, you can call (704)432-4127 or (704)432-4187. They are currently taking names and identifying needs.

We need to come together as a community and support each other. We will get through this. We are Mint Hill Strong!

Stay safe. Stay well. Stay home!

Brad Simmons
Mint Hill Mayor
