Amendment to Subsection VI

AMENDMENT BY THE TOWN OF MINT HILL TO SUBSECTION VI OF THE SECOND REVISED AND AMENDED JOINT PROCLAMATION OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE MECKLENBURG COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTE AND MAYORS OF THE TOWNS OF DAVIDSON, MATTHEWS, MINT HILL AND PINEVILLE, IN CONSULTATION WITH THE MECKLENBURG COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DIRECTOR IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF CHARLOTTE MECKLENBURG EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Mayor of Mint Hill has determined that section vi of the referenced Second Revised and Amended Joint Proclamation should be modified within the corporate limits of the Town of Mint Hill with the intent to allow food to be served in bar areas of restaurants located within Mint Hill; all subject to the existing social distancing and other related public health and safety requirements.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED BY THIS AMENDMENT TO THE SECOND REVISED AND AMENDED PROCLAMATION THAT AS TO THE TOWN OF MINT HILL subsection vi is amended and restated as follows

vi. Restaurants, private clubs, bars and other food and beverage service businesses shall not allow game equipment such as pool tables, darts pinball machines, or any other such game equipment that requires social touching of the game equipment;

No other changes to the SECOND REVISED AND AMENDED JOINT PROCLAMATION are intended or implied.
