An expert consultant firm (Hazen & Sawyer) has been hired by the Town to design, permit, and monitor construction for this project. Their design work has begun and is anticipated to last through the end of 2023. Constructed is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2024 and last approximately 7-9 months. Residents will occasionally see Town and/or consultant staff at the site taking measurements and recording data for the design. More detailed information will be made available at a later date.
Hanging Moss Weight Restriction Sign
Until the culvert is replaced, a weight restriction will be in place and must be respected by residents and their deliveries. No more than 14 tons may be driven over the culvert. If a heavier load must be driven over the culvert, advance notice must be given to the Town and a determination will be made regarding the safe crossing of the load.
