Police Explorers Post 545

Law Enforcement Career Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14 (and completed the 8th grade) and not yet 21 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Law Enforcement.

Law Enforcement Exploring provides educational training programs for young adults on the purposes, mission, and objectives of law enforcement.  The program provides career orientation experiences, leadership opportunities, and community service activities.  The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path within law enforcement and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and the nation.

Our Police Explorers are aged 14-21 are given an advanced opportunity to stand in the footsteps of what a police officer does for the Constitution of the United States, the Laws of North Carolina and the Town of Mint Hill. They are provided with a specialized training and skills which will bring them maturity, confidence, and leadership within.  Our priority is to set youths on the right path and to allow them to develop mentally and physically with the Explorers program.
