Disposal Of Confidential And Personal Documents

Mecklenburg County provides “secure paper shred events” to County residents each spring and fall.  These events are limited to residential patrons only, and also limited to 3 ‘Bankers Boxes’ of material per event

The events are held the 3rd Saturday of the month during March, April, May, June, September, October and November.  

Events are from 9am to 12 noon, or until the trucks are full.

Help us achieve good customer service by:

• Reserving only 1 time slot per customer
• Adhering to the three 12x12x12 inch file box per customer limit
• Not bringing material in plastic bags. Plastic file (banker) boxes are acceptable.
