Mint Hill Welcomes Fall
Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest

We are pleased to announce the Annual Town of Mint Hill Scarecrow Decorating Contest will be held October 1-31, 2023.  Thanks to our sponsor Novant Health – Mint Hill Medical Center, we are offering over $1,500 in prizes for business and residential categories.

Once again, we are expanding the event beyond Town Hall and out into the community.  You create a scarecrow and put it on display outside your business, church, home, or club.  There will be a list of all locations where scarecrows are on display for voting.  Patrons will be encouraged to travel around Mint Hill discovering all the whimsical displays.  They are then encouraged to vote on who has the BEST SCARECROW in Mint Hill. Share pictures on social media and be sure to tag us at #mhscarecrows.  Help us decorate our Town this fall season. 

Sign up today for the scarecrow decorating contest.  Whether scary or funny, silly, or ridiculous, this is your chance to express yourself or your business.  The contest is open to everyone.
