PRESS RELEASE
Military Hometown Heroes Program

The Town of Mint Hill Military Hometown Heroes Banner Program is a tribute created for our community to honor fallen service members, veterans, and active-duty service members of the United States Armed Forces. Banners will be displayed on light poles with the veteran’s photo and name on both sides of the banner.  Banners will be on display twice yearly (Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day) for two years. Veteran’s Day will honor living veterans.  Memorial Day will honor veterans we have lost.  In November 2022 the first cycle of banners was hung around the fountain at Town Hall.  The second cycle will be displayed in May of 2023.
