Mint Hill Events, Inc. Announces 2021 Schedule

MINT HILL – Mint Hill Events, Inc. has begun planning for 2021 events. We kicked off February with our I Love Mint Hill Photo Contest. We received over 200 entries and left it up to the community to pick a winner.

Starting March 16, the Easter Bunny will be hiding twelve giant Easter Eggs around Mint Hill. Join us for a Town-wide Easter egg hunt by clues that will be posted on our social media. When you find an egg, scan the QR code with your smart phone and enter your name and email address in the form. If you find multiple eggs, be sure to scan each one’s unique QR code to receive an entry for that location. The more eggs you find, the more chances you will have to win! Starting in June we will be hosting

Family Fun Nights at Mint Hill Veterans Park. Family Fun Nights bring the community together at the park for a night of wholesome fun with a concert, food trucks and family games. Family Fun starts at 6:30 pm and the concert starts at 7:00 pm. The 2021 schedule is as follows:

Saturday, June 12 Thirsty Horses
Saturday, July 10 Steven Metz Band
Saturday, August 14 The L.A. Maybe
Saturday, September 11 Delta Fire

The event formerly known as Sunday Afternoon in the Park has been renamed the Annual Tina Ross Afternoon in the Park as a tribute to the late Commissioner Tina Ross in honor of her love for the arts and the Town of Mint Hill. The event will take place on Saturday, October 2 at Mint Hill Town Hall.

We have moved Mint Hill Madness to October 21-23, 2021. The three day festival has something for everyone in the family; delicious food; great music ranging from country to rock; a fantastic family carnival; an arts/crafts fair; and of course, a spectacular firework show.

The Town of Mint Hill will once again host the Christmas parade prior to the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Join us downtown for a special nighttime parade featuring local businesses, organizations, bands and of course, Santa. The parade will travel down Matthews-Mint Hill Road from Bain School to the Mint Hill Library. Santa will leave after the parade and return to Town Hall for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

Our number one priority is keeping our community safe. We will continue to follow guidelines as outlined by the CDC to keep our events safe.
